L’any 2004 es va estrenar la pel·lícula The Life Aquatic, dirigida per Wes Anderson. La banda sonora del film, a banda de passatges instrumentals, està integrada per les versions que va fer el cantant, actor i compositor brasiler Seu Jorge dels grans èxits de David Bowie, sempre a guitarra i veu i amb la lletra adaptada al portuguès.
