Quan tenia 26 anys, Shannon Smith havia construït una vida que se li havia anticipat: estudiava el tercer curs d’un postgrau, era mare d’una nena i esparava un altre fill. Aquell món nou, desconegut, el va voler descobrir amb una càmera. Mentre els nens creixien, aquesta mare i fotògrafa feia créixer el projecte fotogràfic Doing It Domestic. “Vull que els meus fills vegin els records molt després que els hagin oblidat”, diu.
