Dinah Washington (Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 29 d'agost de 1924 – Detroit, Michigan, 14 de desembre de 1963) va ser una de les cantants més icòniques dels anys 50. Reconeguda per la seva poderosa veu, va destacar en el jazz, però també va deixar empremta en gèneres com el blues, el rhythm and blues i la música pop tradicional. Coneguda com la "Reina del Blues", va ser una de les figures més influents de la seva època. L'escoltem cantar Mad About the Boy, una cançó del 1932 escrita per Noël Coward.
